Configuring file searcher application |
| Select the + sign to the left of the username, if the tree is not already expanded, then right click the + sign to the left of the 'Security Configuration' node. If there is no + sign to the left of the Security Configuration node go to Add File Searcher. to find out how to add it. |
| You will be presented with the following screen: |

| Select the 'File Searcher Configuration' node and you will be presented with the following screen: |

| This screen allows you to configure which directories and files types the user has access to when they perform remote file searching. |
| Repeat the following instructions for each starting directory and file types the user has access to: |
| 1. Press the 'Edit...' button to select a directory from which this user can start searching if they do not provide this information in the search request. The file selection window should appear: |

| 2. Click the 'Search Sub Dirs' check box if you want the user to be able to search directories underneath the one specified in the 'Directory'. |
| 3. Enter the file suffix you want the user to have access to, and enter it into the 'File Types”'box. Make sure you specify the . before the extension and press 'Add' for each file type specified. |
| The screen should look something like: |

| 4. Once all file types have been added, press the 'Move Up' button and the configuration will move up into the table towards the top of the screen. |
| If you want the user to be able to specify different directories and file types than those that have been defined here, check the 'Allow User Override' check box at the top of the screen. Please note that this will give this user access to any files and drives accessible from the machine hosting |
| Once a configuration has been saved the screen should look like: |

| Now click 'Save' and go to Configure Incoming Email File. |
